Heavy rains slowed harvest briefly, but supply is returning soon!

Ken here, Co-Founder of TruBeef Organic along with my wife Karina.
Just a quick personal note to explain why a few cuts ( steak cuts in particular) have been out of stock lately.
A few weeks ago we had unusually heavy rain which caused temporary flooding across parts of the grazing land. Because our cattle and sheep live outdoors year round, are fully pasture raised, and we harvest in small weekly cycles, this temporarily slowed what we could bring forward for processing. The important thing is all the animals were safely moved to higher ground and are doing well.
When you work closely with nature, every now and then she reminds you who is really setting the pace!
The upside, of course, is the very reason many of you choose us. Our 100% organic 100% grassfed, unaged beef and lamb comes from a genuinely natural, SLOW FOOD system, not an industrial one, so weather and seasons can influence supply from time to time.
The good news is production is steadily returning to normal, and you should begin to see sold out cuts coming back into stock over the next 10 to 14 days.
