(SCAM ALERT) How can I tell if a social media ad, email address, or telephone number really belongs to TruBeef Organic?

Unfortunately, a group of scammers have recently copied our name and logo to create fake ads on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
These fake accounts use our logo and product images to appear legitimate, then contact unsuspecting consumers asking them to send money in exchange for an order by Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or bank transfer — which is never how we operate.

We do not accept payment through any cash apps or bank transfers. If you see this, it is a clear red flag. Please stop, do not send the scammers your hard earned money and click "Report as Scam or Fraud (see directions below if unsure).

Some of these scams also use email addresses that look similar to ours, such as info@trubeeforganic.com (this is not from us), to impersonate our business. We’ve also received reports of scammers calling or texting customers, pretending to be from TruBeef Organic. Please be very cautious.

TruBeef Organic never sells or takes payments through social media or direct messages. We have never advertised on social media or through Google Ads.
We only sell through our official website here www.truorganicbeef.com using secure credit card checkout.

If you ever come across a suspicious page or social media ad asking for payment, please report it to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok as a fraudulent post.

How to Spot a Scam

1. Requests for payment by Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or bank transfer
   We do not accept these as payment under any circumstances.

2. Social media ads claiming to be TruBeef Organic
   We do not advertise on any social media platforms.

3. Email addresses that look similar to ours but are not from us
   We only use hello@truorganicbeef.com  for customer communication and sales@truorganicbeef.com for order confirmations.
   Any other email address is not from us.

4. Calls or texts asking for cash, cash app payment, or personal details
   We only have one telephone number: 619-333-8942.
   Any other number is not TruBeef Organic.

If you notice any of these 4 red flags in a social media ad or message, it is a scam. 

How to Report a Fake TruBeef Organic Ad

If you come across a fake TruBeef Organic social media ad or page on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook, please report it right away. This helps remove scams faster and protects others from being targeted.

On Instagram:

1. Tap the three dots (…) in the top-right corner of the post or profile.

2. Select Report.

3. Choose It’s a scam or fraud, or if reporting a profile, choose Report account → It’s pretending to be someone else → A business or organization.

4. Add a short note: “This account is impersonating TruBeef Organic.”

On Facebook:

1. Tap the three dots (…) in the top-right corner of the post or page.

2. Select Find support or report post (or Report Page if it’s a full page).

3. Choose Scam or fraud, then follow the on-screen steps.

4. Add: “This account is impersonating TruBeef Organic.”

On TikTok:

1. Tap the arrow icon (Share) on the video or ad.

2. Select Report.

3. Choose Misleading or fraud → Impersonation.

4. Add: “Fake account using TruBeef Organic name and logo.”

After reporting, you can email us at hello@truorganicbeef.com with screenshots or links. We’ll forward them directly to the platforms’ brand protection teams.
